One Reason the U.S. will never leave Iraq

I know I have posted this before but this video is really funny, it makes me feel better about my own jumpin jacks.

OK, seriously

So I woke up this morning and guess what? It is snowing......
Alright people it's not that I don't like the snow, but it is the middle of March. And remember our first snow this season was the end of September (granted it was brief, but still). So here we are in the middle of March with snow, hope the Easter bunny has a snowboard.

No Dancing No Seat Belts

So I think that life has finally got back to normal enough for me to start posting some pics and stories from our family vacation. We had a great time and were gone for nine days so it was a great getaway. The theme of our vacation seemed to be No Dancing No Seat Belts, because every ride that we got on there would be this sign, and my sweet Carter interpreted it a different way. So everytime we got on a ride "Look mom, no dancing, no seat belts" was heard. We tried to explain but he would not beleive us, so as I start posting remember no dancing, no seat belts, oh and keep your hands in the ride at all times.

I am also posting my favorite picture from our vacation it really sums up the fun that we had.

And the WINNER for parents of the year.......

Goes to us........ I bet you guys didn't realize we were the best parents of the year... Well I will give you a great example. On our recent vacation (I will blog about that later) we convinced our sweet, trusting daughter to pose for a picture for us at a water area in Legoland. She was already a little wet so we thought we would help her out a little. That is her next to the pole, and if you look in the next picture you can still kind of make her out in the waterfall. It was so funny, Troy and I were laughing so hard (see best parents ever) and poor Bailey was soaked. Oh the joys of being able to torture your children.

Happy LOVE Day

Ok, so today is Valentines Day and I know that I will have to change my background soon but before I did that I wanted to list some things that I love. Because I have been on this earth for 28 Valentines Days, then here are 28 things that I love:

1. My husband. Most of you don't see this but when Troy gets in his real goofy moods he is an absolute riot. He takes good care of me and the kids, and he knows how to think and dream big but not miss the little things in life either.

2. Bailey, her laugh, her sense of humor, and her stubborn streak.

3. Carter, I love that he always does the exact opposite of what I ask him to do, and his tender heart. I love that he has taught me patience.

4. My Heavenly Father, he has been with me through some really tough times and always placed earthly angels in my life when I needed them most.

5. My country, I am proud to be born in and live in the USA. No matter how screwed up our politicians get, I still love the freedom and opportunities we have.

6. Our Armed Forces, I was raised a military "brat", and have seen the sacrifice first hand. They deserve our respect and support.

7. My extended family, we are a crazy bunch, but we love each other and stick together. Our times together are imprinted on my heart.

8. My friends old and new, old ones you have always been there for me, and we have had some GREAT times, oh my memories are fond. New friends, you have no idea what you are getting into.

9. My mom, she has taught me strength and perserverance, and faith.

10. I love flowers, (as I was typing this my sweet husband just had flowers delivered to me).

11. I love animals, we are actually thinking about getting another dog, I know we are crazy.

12. The smell after it rains when the sky is clean.

13. To travel, I want to see the world.

14. When the fall rolls around and the air smells like soccer, only the true athletes will understand that one.

15. To watch my children when they are asleep, they are so sweet.

16. The mountains, I pretty much love everything about them.

17. Good music, I always have music on in my house, it clams my soul. I also dance in my kitchen where I hope that no one can see.

18. The first snowfall, when everything looks so peaceful. But I am pretty sick of the snow right now.

19. Peachie-oh's they are those little round peach candy rings.

20. A good book, and a quiet hour to read it.

21. To be with people, I am a social person, so surround me with people and I am happy.

22. The fall

23. Driving when the weather is nice with the windows down, and the music up.

24. Shopping, I know that really comes as a shock to all those who know me :)

25. Fireworks and ice cream, recipe for a perfect summer.

26. Napping in a hammock

27. Staying up till 3 a.m. playing games with my brothers and sister.

28. And finally, I love this place and time right now. I am enjoying this moment in my life. My marriage, my kids, my family , my friends. We live for today and hope for tomorrow. I feel so blessed.

Wow, I really feel like I could have gone on for a longer list. I know that some of those are cheesy but today is the day for cheese, and I just want us all to remember the good things.

I want to be a ROCKSTAR

Ok, so my husband brought home a new game last week. At first I was a little wary because I was not sure if it would be fun. But I am now the newest groupie of the game Rock Band. For those of you living underneath a rock, and do not know what it is, you can have two guitar players, a drummer, and a singer. You are judged by how well you perform and it is so much fun. We had some friends over last night and that is all we did all night, it was great (what Superbowl?) A lot of the music is quite a flash back, but if you want to come join in the Felt family band, let me know.
